Terms of agreement.
Since there are 44 letters, 26 vowels and 5 levels of intonation in Thai language. So it is quite difficult to find the letters in English which is equivalent exactly to those letters and sounds. We try to use those letters and pronuciations as normally used in English but some will be used in particular ways. Here are those letters.
