    The Asia Hotel (Tel.077-811113,39/9 Th Ruangrat) near the market, has spacious, clean room with fan and bath for 240B to 300B and air-con rooms for 620B. Information on local islands is posted in the lobby.

    Across from the market is the not-veryfriendly Sin Ranong Hotel (Tel.077-811454,24/24 Th Ruangrat) with adequate rooms with fan for 180/200B, air-con for 320/400B single/double. North a bit, at 81/1 Th Ruangrat, the Sin Tavee Hotel (Thawi, Tel.077-811213) offers somewhat inferior rooms for 160B to 200B single, 300B double, plus air-con rooms for 280/500B. The Boat Restaurant next to the Suriyanan Hotel also rents out a few rooms for 300B to 350B with fan and private bath, 400B with air-con

    Further up Th Ruangrat are the multistoreyb Rattanasin Hotel (no sing, look for a green building) on the right and the Suriyanan Hotel. The Rattanasin is a typical Thai-Chinese place that looks worse for wear despite a recent "renovation". Rooms with fan and bath cost 100/170B single/double. The Suriyanan is dark and decaying. but the staff are friendly and claim they don't allow any prostitutes in the hotel. A basic room is 100B with a fan, and 120B with fan and bath.

    Ranong Inn Hotel (Tel.077-822777, fax 821527, 29/9 Th Phetkasem), a few kilometres south of the town centre on the highway to Kaper, has ill kept rooms for 240B with fan and private bath, 430B with air-con and TV. In the same direction, 

Eiffel Inn (Tel.077-823271) - you can't miss it, there's a 15m Eiffel Tower model in the parking lot - offers fancy bungalows with TV, fridge, phon and hot showers for 1500B (discounted rates of 600B are readily dispensed).

Royal Princess Ranong is a business hotel with a health spa located in the center of the commercial district of Ranong. The hot spring Water is provided through out the hotel from the swimming pool to the Jacuzzi and in every guestroom.

The Spa Inn (Tel. 077-811715) charges 200B for rooms with fan, 380B to 420B for air-con rooms.
